Ms. Kariuki is a vastly experienced lawyer and development practitioner currently working with the World Wildlife Fund as the Global Governance Policy Specialist. Before that, she worked as an advisor at International Alert on Private Sector Engagement. She has in the past worked with the Kenya Human Rights Commission as the Programme Manager in-charge of Economic and Social Justice as well as the Southern and Eastern African Trade Information and Negotiations Institute (SEATINI) as a Programme Officer.
