Mr. Ochola is an alumnus of Econews Africa having worked with the organization back in 2007. He is a trade and development expert working with UN Volunteers at the time of his appointment to the board. He has in the past worked on accountable governance, economic justice and rights at Christian Aid after he left Econews Africa in 2009. He has previously worked with a UN Habitat project on the Global Land Tool Network (GLTN), an alliance of global, regional and national partners contributing to poverty alleviation through land reform, improved land management and security of tenure. He is a Kenyan citizen.
